Jyusan-duka : 13 mounds in a row

Jyusan-duka(13 mounds in a row) are found throughout Iwate Prefecture in the north and Kagoshima Prefecture in the south.
There are 27 in Kanagawa Prefecture.
They are almost in a straight line.
Many of these are along village boundaries or roads, and this is one example.
The "Okori-duka Mound" is the largest of the 15 mounds which are said to have existed.
As a result of excavations conducted in 1987, it is believed to have been constructed in the late Middle Ages (from 1336 to 1590).
