塔の塚

寒川町指定重要文化財第十号
昭和五十五年(1980)年十一月一日指定
伝えによると、明治三十七年(1904)廃寺になった安楽寺末観護寺の僧が入定した塚といわれ、別名入定塚ともよばれている。
また「昔、塚の頂に塔が建っていると南湖の海の魚がその光で逃げてしまうということで、魚売りが塚のそばを通るたびに塔を倒したので塔がなくなった」という伝説も残っている。
(南北:12メートル、東西:11メートル、高さ:3メートル)
